My passion for wood turning truly makes these vessels creations of my heart. Each creation is planned and executed in great detail. From the wood that is chosen to the final piece that is present before you, it is my goal to be meticulous and precise. Inspiration for my turnings derive from such forms as pueblo pottery and the naturally occurring shapes found in the vast forests of Michigan where I live.

The wood chosen for my turnings are selectively gathered from renewable sources around Michigan. It is amazing how much beautiful wood you can find in people's fire piles! It is in my wood shop in Haslett, Michigan that a tree becomes a true art form.
