steampunk jewelry: a beautiful bridge to the past

Steampunk means different things to different people: Science fiction/science fantasy, social movement, art movement, and lots of other things I know nothing about. But I do have a liking for steampunk jewelry. I appreciate its use of artistic repurposing to highlight the beauty of (mostly) vintage cogs, wheels, watch movements and skeleton keys. I see in the style a respect for the beauty in these objects, as well as a connection to the craftspeople who created them. Steampunk jewelry is a powerful and beautiful energetic bridge of artistic continuity. And I love that. This collection has a good mix of items for men and women. They're all one-of-a-kind pieces, so if you see something you like, don't dally.
